About this site

When I was building the MINI model of the T-Wing, a starfighter of the Rebel Alliance of the Expanded Universe of Star Wars, I noticed that this starfighter was quite similar to a ship I had seen in an old Science Fiction TV series. This was the Colonial Viper from Battlestar Galactica!
This took place in fall of 2004. I then decided to do a proper model of the Colonial Viper as it was an interesting design. However, I never came along finishing it, due to always designing new starships of the Star Wars Universe.
In summer of 2005 I got an email from a fan writing me he also was a fan of Battlestar Galactica. He asked me if I would be able to make a MINI Battlestar Galactica, and I decided to give it a try. The result can be seen on this site.
I then remembered the nearly abandonned project of the Colonial Viper, and finally finished it to have a companion for the Battlestar Galactica.
The next addition then was a starship of the Cylons, the main enemy of the Colonial military, the well-known Cylon Raider.
